As well as being our Head Judge Zaff Malik also spoke to an enthralled audience at the Queens House Creative ENRG’s Showcase about the differences between acting for TV (Ant & Dec Saturday Night Show) and acting in Hollywood (he was the leader of the Philistine army in the 2015 blockbuster David and Goliath) as well as highlighting many of the insider techniques used by professional actors and film makers.

The Festival Begins

Radio Humberside

Festival Director Mal Williamson and Head Judge Zaff Malik will be appearing on the Burnsy show this morning (8th Sept) on BBC Radio Humberside to talk about the Tea Break Film Festival which launches at 10am today. Later at 1pm Hollywood actor Zaff Malik will be speaking at the Queens House Creative ENRG’s Showcase. Actor, aviator and celebrity Zaff will discuss the differences between acting for TV (Ant & Dec Saturday Night Show) and acting in Hollywood (he was the leader of the Philistine army in the 2015 blockbuster David and Goliath) as well as highlighting many of the insider techniques used by professional actors and film makers.

We are pleased to announce that the 2016 Tea Break film Festival will be held on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of July in Mick Ronson’s Cafe in Queen’s Gardens, Hull. More details of the times will appear on this website and also on our Facebook page.
